I'm trying to build a platform which gives news & advice from a green / eco-friendly perspective. Any support & feedback greatly appreciated! :) earthize.org/

Being scared is okay . I’m scared . @JustStop_Oil are scared . @XRebellionUK are scared . What isn’t okay is failing to do anything about it . Worse still is deliberately stopping people from doing anything about it . That’s where the fight needs to be focused - Big Oil/BigAg

My latest article is about something as simple as finding eco-friendly hand soap... hope to have so many of these types of articles that you could make your weekly shopping list out of them! earthize.org/advice/eco-frie…
But also want to cover some deep, heavy political topics from a green & centre-left perspective. earthize.org/opinion/immigra…

I’m baffled by the think pieces from lefties talking about how we start building a party alternative to Labour, that largely dismiss the Greens. We’ve a party with a block of English MPs to the left of Labour, 1st time in living memory. The building has already started. Join us!

If you can get more time in prison for doing a zoom call about peaceful protest than you can for violent crime, why not just be violent? The establishment have engineered a situation where violent direct action might become more commonplace in politics than peaceful protest
I wrote to @CSkidmoreUK about the danger of supporting his government's authoritarian anti protest laws back when he was my MP. He supported them anyway. I wonder how he feels about today's news given his rebirth as someone who "cares" about the climate?

Reducing every discussion down to NIMBY/YIMBY ignores that fact that every single project has its own particular cost/benefit analysis and environmental impact assessment.
Some projects have are a clear win, some are an acceptable tradeoff, and some are patently shit ideas.

France’s extraordinary election results provide an urgent, valuable lesson.
Don’t concede ground to those who sow division and fear. Build a bold Left movement that offers an alternative of inclusion and hope.
That is how you defeat the far right.
In 2 days Starmer has stopped the Rwanda scheme, appointed a socially-liberal reformer to the prisons brief, called on Israel for a ceasefire in Gaza & told Palestine it has an undeniable right to be recognized as a state. That is impressive, to be fair.

If you're on the left, today is a day of optimism.
The Greens and independents surged.
Greens are now second place in dozens of Labour seats, meaning pressure no longer only comes from Farageism.
Labour now ignores the Left at its peril.
New column!

I'm willing to give Labour a chance, I think even if you don't trust their motives you'd think they'll *try* and do a half decent job out of self-preservation at least.
But 63% of the seats on 33% of the votes is a crisis of democracy, and we will now have to fight hard for PR.
