🛰️From weather forecasting and navigation to secure communications and climate monitoring, Europe’s investment in space delivers value for all citizens. Last December, Friends of Europe and @esa co-organised a #FoEDebate bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, experts and users, to debate: 📈how to maximise the value of space for society; and 🔭how to ensure Europe keeps delivering on the space technologies it needs for current needs and for the future. Key takeaways 🔹Space services are crucial for Europe's strategic autonomy. 🔹To combat fragmented space governance and inefficiency, all public and private actors must cooperate. 🔹Cooperation in the present is critical for Europe's future in space. 👏Thank you to all our esteemed speakers and participants!

🔈 Bringing an industry perspective to today's #FoEDebate, @EmmmanuelPajot, Secretary General of @EARSC, notes: ❝We think that the industries should be well more connected with the entities in charge of [regulation] to make sure that the knowledge is well-shared, accessible to all in the future. We need to rely on Copernicus, we need to rely on commercial data in order to make sure that we really exploit the capabilities.❞
