This is a point for the nativists. We do not, to put it mildly, have a surplus of qualified, affordable docs in every area. But, every year, something like 30K MCAT takers with scores above the ACCEPTED Black mean - i.e. top 48% - are denied even a med school slot. Later resulting gaps are filled by foreigners: good, nice people...but by no means better qualified than the 2nd tier of Midwestern white applicants. Any defense of this beyond guild interest?

Marc Palasciano (@marc_palasciano) , a T-Mobile whistleblower, is making a very serious allegation about Sara Gonzales.(@SaraGonzalesTX ) Marc alleges that Gonzales refuses to seriously cover his reporting on T-Mobile and other large tech companies because Patriot Mobile , a sponsor tied to her program operates using T-Mobile’s network. Read that again. He is alleging that the financial relationship is not incidental , it is influencing what gets covered, who gets attacked, and which corporations are protected. If Marc can substantiate that, this is not merely “biased journalism.” It would mean viewers are being presented supposedly independent reporting while commercial interests may be sitting behind the editorial curtain. And the consequence is enormous: giant corporations get kid-glove treatment while small American businesses, workers, and whistleblowers get dragged through the mud. That is why this matters. Journalism cannot become corporate PR with a microphone. Marc has given me permission to publish our conversation.
