Deepthi and Tanmaye from the Early Bird team facilitated a day-long training for 105 librarians at the Mysuru Taluk Panchayat office. The session focused on introducing the Prakrutiya Pettige kit through a mix of play-based and creative activities.
Librarians participated in flashcard memory games and other interactive exercises from the kit, while also engaging in hands-on activities such as drawing birds, creating squiggle birds and fork birds, and exploring nature journaling and bird poetry.
The training aimed to familiarise librarians with different ways of using the kit and its activities in their library spaces.

ಇಂದು ನವೆಂಬರ್ 12, ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಭಾರತದ ಪಕ್ಷಿ ಪ್ರೇಮಿ ಡಾ. ಸಲೀಂ ಅಲಿ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ “ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಿ ದಿನ” (National Bird Day) ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹಕ್ಕಿಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
