Yes, dosage of imprinted genes is important! Accurate H19/Igf2 dosage is critical for cardiac-placental axis in mouse development; VSD/cardiac hypotrophy/placental thrombosis in SRS-like mouse embryos. Heart and placenta are connected, through H19/Igf2!

Today marks the five-year anniversary of the #Pulse massacre.
On 12 June 2016, 49 people were killed in a mass shooting inside Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
Five years on, the world mourns the loss of and honours these proud members of the LGBTQ+ community
What a fun way to start the weekend, left the lab at 5:00pm itβs already 7:15pm and my train hasnβt moved for over 2 hours. This has been the longest ride to get home. (Fun fact: it takes 30mins by train to get from the lab to my place) π‘
Amazing opportunity to work with an incredible mentor and a great group.
Interested in joining our lab? We have two postdoctoral positions available!
