Our National Mixed team had to dig deep to see off a very good Muskerry team in this afternoon's Munster East semi-final at Douglas. Well done to team captains Dara & Shane and all of the panel. The Munster East final will be in Muskerry next month. dy

Douglas are Munster East Men's and Women's AIG Senior Cup pennant winners! Our Men's team defeated Cork 3.5-1.5 in today's final at Kinsale G.C. Our Women's team also defeated Cork in their final, winning 4-1. Photos courtesy of Niall O' Shea, Cork Golf News.

Heroes of the hour today were Frank Mackey and Dermot McHugh. On the first playoff hole, Frank putted up to about 2 feet from off the green and Dermot calmly tapped in for par and a very hard fought victory.

Douglas and Fermoy had a titanic battle in today's Jimmy Bruen match at Douglas. The golf was of a very high standard and the match finished 2-2. Douglas won at the first extra hole. Well done to everyone involved and thanks to all the members who were there to support the team.

All the best to Derek Gosnell and his Junior Cup team, who will play Monkstown in @MonkstownGC at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow, Sunday. 🍀🍀🍀 @HartnettShane @jackahearne @Colin_mag7 @eamongolf
