THANK YOU 🙏
I CAME WITH A MESSAGE, NOT TO BE IN COMPETITIONS.
I am Shatta Wale. I didn’t come into this world to prove that I am better than anybody. I came to prove that no matter where you come from, what you go through, or how many times the world rejects you, you can still become somebody great.
My journey has never been about who is ahead of me or who is behind me. My journey is about purpose, sacrifice, faith, and the millions of people who see themselves in my story.
I didn’t come to fight for a position. I came to create a path where people who were told they would never make it could find hope.
Some people came for the awards, some came for the applause, and some came to compete. I came to deliver a message that even a boy from the streets can become a KING without anybody’s permission.
You can compare my music, question my methods, misunderstand my character, or even try to erase my contributions. But one thing you can never take away from me is the purpose God placed inside me.
I AM NOT HERE TO BE BETTER THAN ANYBODY. I AM HERE TO BE EVERYTHING GOD CREATED ME TO BE.
My life is the message. My struggles are the lessons. My success is the evidence.
I AM SHATTA WALE. I DIDN’T COME TO COMPETE. I CAME TO AWAKEN A GENERATION.
SM4LYF. GOD IS HERE. 👑

Big ups to Chris Hesse who has protected Ghana’s history on over 7000 hours of film footage. I can’t wait to see footage of mid 1970s to 80s Ghana.
Chale 🇬🇭 In the glow of yesterday’s exciting trailer release, we want to spotlight some of the remarkable Ghanaian and diaspora filmmakers and crew whose voices, perspectives, and creative contributions helped shape THE EYES OF GHANA. Deeply grateful for the care, talent, and dedication each brought to telling this story. There is no film without them and so many others.

Kezia was practically begging people to donate to her NGO, which supports people she believes deserve a chance at life. She did not flaunt wealth, insult anyone, or engage in any suspicious activity that could cast doubt on her work, yet she was vilified.
Nyame pɛ!!
They actually accused @KeziaSanie of money laundering through her NGO. Herh.
Her dad was a backbench MP at the time, not minister or deputy
She didn’t buy a Land Cruiser twin turbo for an A-list artiste
She was donating books to schools that didn’t have.

Maybe because these guys were the ones who actually made it.🙃
And Obama executive produced, ie, was responsible for business direction.

Because Obama didn't MAKE it. Ghanaians did with a little (much needed) help.
Obama executive produced :managed the financial, strategic, and overall business direction of a project rather than handling daily on-set operations.
