You can start building without being a developer.
Start with one repeated workflow, then choose the route that fits.
The same Friday watchlist notes can become a prompt brief or a small API map.
From idea to app, with or without code. Review still comes before production.
The catalog said ready.
The call still failed.
Listed is not live.
Before the agent plans around a name, prove it can run:
get-all-routes -> get-route-spec -> one real read
No live mark? Drop the name.
Builders: what do you check before you trust a tool is real?

Why connect Builders MCP at all?
So Cursor or Claude can call the same portfolio and market tools the dashboard uses, without copy-paste JSON between apps.

Answer in plain words.
Then get a one-page memo:
what looks concentrated, what feels neglected, what to research next.

If a position is invented, throw the answer out.
Agents can draft the order.
Who presses the red button?
A) Human always signs
B) Agent can stage only
C) Auto only with hard caps
D) Depends on scope

Pro investors on etoro put their name, record, and reasoning out every day, good weeks and bad.
That is real public craft. Copy opens the door. The people behind the portfolios are the story.
Builders should give that work more room than a PnL tile:
process notes, entry checklist, what stayed human next to the chart.

This is the craft worth building around. Name, record, and reasoning in public:

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗢𝗥 𝗜𝗦 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 🚪
The people behind the portfolios.
For most of the last century, the way professional money was managed happened behind a closed door. You handed over your savings, you received a statement a few times a year, and you trusted that the people inside knew what they were doing. You rarely saw a single decision as it was made.
Copy trading opens that door. On eToro, investors can choose to copy another investor's portfolio. When you copy someone, the platform mirrors their positions in your account in proportion to the amount you put in. If they buy, you buy. If they trim, you trim. You decide how much to allocate, and you can stop copying whenever you choose.
And it's opened the world to a whole new generation of investors. 🌍 People who once thought markets were only for bankers in suits can now learn, follow and grow alongside experienced investors from every corner of the globe, from their phone, at their own pace. What used to be a private club is now an open room.
But the real story isn't the technology. It's the people.
Since I started posting here, I've got to know a number of eToro's Popular Investors, and what stands out isn't their returns. It's their honesty. Every morning, before most people have finished their first coffee, they're writing up the markets in plain English. They share what they've bought and why. When a position falls, they don't hide it. They explain it, and they explain what they plan to do next.
I've watched them answer questions from complete strangers with real patience. I've seen them praise each other's work, challenge each other politely and admit when someone else made the better call. In a world full of loud promises, it's a community that quietly shows its working.
And honestly? It's one of the best things about being here. 🙌 These are people who put their name, their record and their reasoning on show every single day, in good weeks and bad. That takes courage, and they do it with generosity. Every one of them has taught me something, and I'm proud to stand alongside them. 💪
None of that removes risk. Copying someone means you share their losses as well as their gains, and past results never promise future ones. So take your time, read their posts, ask questions and only copy someone whose thinking makes sense to you.
The door is open. Feel free to look around, get to know the people behind the portfolios, and if you'd like to see how I invest, you're always welcome to look at mine: etoro.tw/4stD9No

THE DOOR IS OPEN 🚪
For decades, managed money sat behind a closed door. You got a statement and hoped for the best.
Copy trading opens it. On eToro you can see an investor's history, holdings and risk score before you copy a single trade. It's opened the world to a whole new generation of investors, learning and growing alongside experienced people from every corner of the globe. 🌍
But the real story is the people. The Popular Investors I've got to know write up the markets every morning, explain every buy, own every loss and answer strangers' questions with real patience.
Their name, their record and their reasoning are on show every single day, in good weeks and bad. That takes courage, and I'm proud to stand alongside them. 🙌
Copying still carries risk, so take your time and only copy thinking that makes sense to you.

Still rebuilding your weekly portfolio post in Excel, then Canva?
@Herukos_ built the shortcut. Sign in with etoro, read only. Analyzevisual turns portfolio data into allocation, heatmaps, risk cards and reels.
No orders. No account amounts.
His post: xitter.cf/Herukos_/status/210921…
Try it: analyzevisual.app
Test account footage. Illustrative only. Not investment advice.
Portfolio updates that actually look ready to post, without spending hours in Excel and Canva.
I built Analyzevisual because I needed exactly that for my own eToro updates. One read-only @eToro login and you get the performance curve, monthly returns, allocation, heatmap and risk at a glance — ready as PNG or reel.
No trading, no posting on your behalf. Just the visuals you’d otherwise assemble by hand.
If you post regularly as a Popular Investor, this saves real time.
Want the same visual clarity on your own portfolio?
Generate the cards yourself in seconds → analyzevisual.app

Still sending screenshots to Claude?
Connect your etoro account in Claude, ChatGPT or Grok. Then paste:
"Read my positions and cash. Do not trade. Do not guess. Show my biggest holding, how the portfolio is split, and one thing that changed."
A price site sees the price. etoro gives the AI the book.
Three builders took it further.
@BullLensApp finds the holding moving the account, even when it is not the biggest.
@leonid_zador connected Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok. Each with its own permissions. Research and analytics, not a spreadsheet.
@Moneyz0x loaded the tools list and the watchlist in Grok. Read-only check.
Save the prompt. What would you ask first?
Are you using AI to connect to your broker?
I have connected:
@claudeai @ChatGPT @grok and @bot
Each for various reasons with own permissions. Mainly for research and analytics.
Say goodbye to manual data export and spreadsheets.
ChatGPT is great for visualization like the attached image with my personal magnificent seven.
I just asked with voice mode and got the image.
Claude for research, Grok and bots for live sentiment analysis directly from @X posts and ticker feeds.
Thanks @eToroBuilders for pushing the boundaries 👏

Software is not dead. An unguarded agent is.
Vibe coding can draft the idea before lunch. We still keep the send with a person.
On builders.etoro.com the agent can read the portfolio. The order waits.
Would you let it read, or also send?
@hauk_roman a workflow that started personal and shipped to the app store is the standard. @Herukos_ pulling the portfolio through etoro sign-in, not a CSV, is the same care. Do you let the agent read, or also send?
A builder opened etoro at 09:00 to check what the agent saved overnight.
The chat log listed the names. The watchlist on screen stayed empty, and no job row showed the write failed.
Builders on etoro: which field do you read before you trust the save landed?
@hauk_roman Two apps live on the eToro App Store. builders: which field do you read before you trust the save landed?
wrong prompt: "what should i buy?"
right stack on etoro MCP:
1) load portfolio + cash + open orders
2) ask only after the live book is in context
3) end with 3 options - no place/cancel until you confirm
steal this for later:
"Read my portfolio, cash, and open orders. Do not trade. Flag what changed. Give 3 options I can confirm."
