Week 13: We're 20% of the way to Tehran. We're in Osnabrück, Germany, and we managed to do 135km last week 😀 Everyone is on a high after our charity run and ready to push for a good April 🏃♀️🏃♂️We're staying the night in Osnabrück Palace as reward for our efforts.
Day 88: A team record of 54.81km yesterday mainly due to us taking part in @CwC_UKcharity fun run in Darlington. It was a great event for a great cause. It was such a lovely evening.
Day 86: We reached 100% of our daily target, and we've passed through Gelsenkirchen, the home city of Schalke 04 @s04_en and the Veltins-Arena, notable for being the venue of the Rooney/Ronaldo sending off/winking incident in 2006. One of our runners was there 12 years ago.
Week 12: 99.87km last week got us to Oberhausen, home of Europes largest shopping centre 'CentrO', and also Paul the Octopus, famous for predicting world cup 2010 results. A shrine stands where Pauls tank used to be. We're hoping he can bring us luck this week for our charity run
Day 82: Just shy of our 20km daily target, we're in Hamminkeln in Germany. Twinned with Sedgefield, it's reminding us of home in the North East of England and Home to the concrete manufacturing company Max Bögl who worked on the Eurotunnel, without whom we wouldn't be here-Danke.
