I'm testing the new departures terminal in Vilnius Airport today. This means I get to:
- get up early
- drive to the airport
- stand in the queue for checkin
- get an invasive grope at security
- queue for boarding
And after enduring all that I get to:
- not fly anywhere
No place to leave the luggage/coat when washing hands.
Baby room looks neat. No children playing area though. Makes sense - flying is for childless white men.

Anyone seen any compact switches? I'd like to squeeze 3x8 ports (unmanaged, ideally with isolation option) into 1U.
Just made the largest donation (as a single payment) to Ukraine to date and now I'm crying a little inside.
Happy fucking holidays.
There are a lot of simple examples of how you can create custom (domain specific) metrics (opentelemetry, prometheus, etc).
Has anyone seen any examples on how you do it at scale in large and complex applications? Videos, blogs, etc - please share!

Specifically, we're already exposing <20 custom metrics total, but we'd potentially like 10s (100s?) across 10s of services.
I'm looking to see what good/bad patterns people have already come up with?
Dear Santa, this year for Xmas I want a list of ideas and gadgets to boobytrap my home against looters in case my home ends up being in an active war zone.
