Finally have Quackle compiled and managed to run the auto play with the python bindings.
Such a gigantic project but not even a single line of comments in most places!
Trying to compile quackle which requires Qt 5.12, don't want to mess up my Qt install so doing it in VM. It complained about a missing libunistring . installing that calls for 2.3 gb of download!
Absolutely not. Sri Lanka is the world leader here.

Because i spent a lot of money last year on backup power, our whole neighborhood has been spared of power cuts since around May of last year.

How accurate is @CBSL Weekly AWPR? How exactly is it calculated? 🧐
Only three foreign banks had AWPR less than average of 25.28% - Reflection of recent restrictions to SDF? Unlikely
Would foreign bank lending have been sufficient to bring down industry average? 🤔

Remember, it didn’t start with gas chambers. It started with politicians dividing the people with ‘us vs. them.’ It started with intolerance and hate speech.
When people stopped caring, became desensitized, and turned a blind eye, it became a slippery slope to genocide.
There used to be people selling caged birds not too far from Sirikotha. During unp governments the ministers of environment and wildlife would invariably have driven past but no action was ever taken
Bird lovers in #lka, need some advice!
I have been spotting this guy who keeps selling caged birds, like sparrows and parrots. Is it a wise thing to release them from their captivity? Can they survive on the urban areas? If so what's the best place to release them?
Today for the first time since seeing chatgpt, i stopped worrying about it.
There was this junior dev working on Django problem. She uses copilot but was struggling on solving a problem for two weeks.
Many stackoverflow posts , chatgpt questions and discord discussions later ..
