A Newly Approved Alzheimer’s Drug Cleared Amyloid Plaques in a Florida Patient
Scott Milinsky, a 79-year-old grandfather from Pompano Beach, Florida, received a diagnosis of early symptomatic Alzheimer’s disease, the same condition that had taken his father’s memory and life. Determined to pursue every available option, he became the second person in Florida to receive Kisunla (donanemab), an anti-amyloid infusion therapy developed by Eli Lilly and recently approved by the FDA.
Over 18 months, Milinsky completed 18 infusions at Broward Health North’s Memory Disorder and Alzheimer’s Center. A follow-up PET scan then brought remarkable news: the treatment had cleared all detectable amyloid plaques from his brain.
Physicians stress that Kisunla is not a complete cure. It does not address the tau tangles also linked to Alzheimer’s disease. Nevertheless, the removal of amyloid plaques has been shown to slow cognitive and functional decline, giving patients additional time and quality of life. Dr. Hazel Wiley, Milinsky’s physician, noted that clearing these plaques can help patients remain independent longer. Milinsky is now among more than 60 patients receiving the therapy at Broward Health.
Clinical trial data support the potential of this approach. In a key study, donanemab produced substantial reductions in amyloid plaque levels on PET imaging, with many participants reaching amyloid-negative status.
For Milinsky and others in similar circumstances, the outcome represents meaningful progress and renewed hope in the treatment of early Alzheimer’s disease.

Trump in 1997, grinning ear-to-ear next to Epstein with kids literally right in front of them.
A picture tells a story? This one’s crystal clear: best buds with a predator while children are in the mix.
The guy who partied with him for years, called him a ‘terrific guy,’ and only cut ties when it became toxic.
“Some protector of children.”
History won’t forget.

American airlines chief operations officer should be fired. The operations at AA have declined in the last 2 years, impacting customers and business clients. No accountability on their declining commitment to their customers.
American airlines continues to decline on performance, ranking the lowest among large carriers for on-time departures. Case in point, my third trip this week and every single one of my flights on AA is delayed more than 1 hour. Time to start using Delta Air (ranks #1)
Just attended a gun show where there's a preponderance of religious beliefs mixed among the artillery. Kind of like these people are using their anal beads as rosaries.
Growing old is ironic. Women are dry due to ask the bodily fluids being directly to hot flash sweats.
Men become bald because they're growing hair every where else.
You have to have impeccable timing to be a waiter. For example, you have to ask a question as soon as the patron stuffs a bite into his mouth.
Fuck you @Avis this is the third meeting I'm missing because you can't plan when folks like me have a reservation 2 weeks in advance. Your app sucks too.
