for the final version, though, I decided to keep the fluid transition.
as @diegohaz mentioned in the comments, an instant transition gives users no visual cue as to what changed after they click. it works well for subtle layout shifts, but in this example, switching sections significantly changes the layout.
in the final spec, I made sure that:
- the transition can be interrupted while it’s playing
- taller sections have longer durations, within a 0.25-0.5s range
- closing duration is 2x faster than opening
- bonus: I've added 0.99 scale for the content during the transition
Life update: in May I wrapped up my time with @matchaxyz | @0xProject. I'm truly thankful for the journey I had with such talented people around me, an important chapter in my career where I had full creative freedom and the opportunity to shape the product.
I merged my first PRs here, went to my first conferences and offsites, and experienced many other things for the first time. Thank you to everyone I worked with 🤍
the problem with designing directly in codex or claude is that you never know the limits of your own design capabilities. i only feel confident after iterating through at least 20+ variations of a screen or component in the canvas. great design is never achieved on the first try.

Introducing vibe-branding with @logram_ai
The internet deserves better than generic logos and AI slop.
Logram is an AI-native brand identity creation tool for anyone building who wants to look credible from day one. We’re starting with crafted combination marks, abstract marks, and letter marks, then expanding into full brand systems.
Getting image models under control is hard, but possible. We’ve been building internal tools, datasets, rules, and guardrails to better understand concept creation, brand relationships, and how to turn rough ideas into usable identity directions.
It’s made for designers exploring early logo concepts, and for builders or founders who want something better than what Claude casually draws for them.
In the current build, Logram can export a brand kit: avatars, lockups, and symbols in SVG and PNG. More controls for output quality, refinement, and iteration are coming soon.
Join the waitlist: logram.ai. We’ll open Logram to a small group of users in a few weeks.
Happy building.
It's open source now. Run it locally on your Mac and Apple Watch and get haptics once Claude Code completed the task. Thanks everyone for the amazing support on the app, that was honestly unexpected.
