Residents under evacuation orders should leave immediately & follow advice from local officials. Conditions will deteriorate this evening.
"an even simpler explanation for the continued engagement: the implications of climate change and the related energy issues have only become more important"

I spoke with @mjchiusano about all of the amazing work happening on the NYC subway.

Some professional news:
After over five years at @Columbia University, I’m stepping down as the Chief Climate & Sustainability Officer.
What’s next? Vacation! Then taking on a new and exciting set of climate resilience challenges. More on that soon enough… – at New York, NY
It has been a privilege to serve @Columbia since 2021. I am proud of what we have accomplished here together, from supporting the creation of the Climate School to accelerating the construction of all-electric university buildings and more!
And I won’t be totally gone from campus: I’ll still be teaching my course this fall on New York City’s climate policy since Hurricane Sandy in the @ColumbiaClimate School.
