I love this platform and 5 years after leveraging it in a #GCDigital context I'm still amazed and impressed by its ability to continue to reach new heights and inspire others to approach algorithms and digital democracy differently.
Kudos to @colinmegill and your team!!!

Does anyone have SharePoint IM #GC retention policy setup and configuration information?
Some places use SharePoint for transient documents, and others use it as a depository.
GCDocs is not used where I am.
#GCdigital folks, what guidelines, policies and approaches (ex: naming conventions) are you all adopting to standardize how your institution uses channels in MS Teams? Do you take a slack approach? One language? Both? Do you simply accept that it will never be accessible?
So looking at a few GCxchange communities some are using English then French (separated by a dash) and others are using just one language (primarily English) for channel names. No one seems to be using the slack based approach.
Does CDS have guidelines? @supergovernance
Question for #GCdigital
Have any of you implemented the use of Mailchimp for your institution? Interested in a possible conversation about your experience. We are in the process here at Canadian Heritage and would like to lean on the success of others.
Thanks :)
A very personal story of Sophie and I over the past 3 years and our struggles with infertility and the effects that has on a couple and their personal mental emotional state.
From my heart to your eyes, I truly hope there is something for everyone in here

Been a bit, but back to exploring the unknown with @States_Change (from home this time).
MS Team Tip:
Should you use channels vs chat to work collaboratively as a team?
Use channels for most of your team based work. Chat should be reserved for chatting with your colleagues privately. In channels use @mentions + tags to indicate who should pay attention.
MS Teams tip:
Feeling overwhelmed by notifications or just want a temporary break from them so you focus without interruptions? Set your status to Do not disturb.
You can access it through your profile image in the upper right corner or by hovering over the taskbar icon.

My gc colleague and friend @JoyceMSilver shares her insights and experiences on working in a surge team. Some novel approaches to designing a team that lays a foundation for trust and a more retrospective approach to work in gov. Great stuff
