A reminder that these are adinkra symbols, created by the Akan in the 1800s. Many yt ppl are now using them as random motifs, getting them tattooed & calling them “new tribal symbols.” There is nothing new about this, it is ANCIENT, despite being shiny and cutesy to new yt eyes.
