Merck $MRK and Moderna $MRNA personalized mRNA cancer vaccine slowed the return of melanoma and its spread to other parts of the body in a Ph3 clinical trial.
No data disclosed yet, but the study was stopped for positive results at the first interim analysis.
Magnitude of benefit TBD, but this is a potentially huge breakthrough for cancer patients and the use of mRNA to treat cancer.

There’s a lot of aerospace market data available. The harder question is knowing what it actually means.
After years working directly in the aircraft parts aftermarket, I’ve developed a perspective that goes beyond what you can see in a database or financial report.
I spend my time looking at the market from the ground level:
• Real-world part availability
• Pricing across conditions and suppliers
• Supply and demand dynamics
• Part-number liquidity
• Competitive positioning
• Inventory quality and market value
• Recurring and emerging demand
• Pricing anomalies and market inefficiencies
That information can be particularly valuable when making decisions involving inventory, sourcing, pricing, manufacturing, M&A, investment, and aftermarket strategy.
I’ve become increasingly interested in applying this experience to aerospace market intelligence and due diligence — helping companies and investment groups understand what is actually happening within the aftermarket, rather than relying solely on reported data.
For example:
Is an inventory portfolio truly worth its stated value?
Which part numbers have genuine pricing power?
Where are supply constraints creating opportunities?
Which markets are becoming increasingly competitive?
Where does the data differ from what industry participants are actually experiencing?
This is the type of analysis I find most interesting.
I’m particularly interested in conversations with aerospace manufacturers, MROs, distributors, PE firms, investment groups, and strategic buyers looking for a deeper understanding of the aviation aftermarket.
The aviation aftermarket is an enormous market.
There is a tremendous amount of information available.
The real value is knowing how to interpret it.
