Such terrible news. Ruth was such a presence it does not seem possible that she is gone, and so suddenly. I was lucky to have known and worked with her
We're very sad to hear about the passing away of Ruth Eastwood, a brilliant cultural leader who had such an impact on theatre, including @DarlingtonHipp @LighthousePoole @CurveLeicester & Blackpool @Grand_Theatre. Our thoughts are with her family & friends.
Delighted that @BallBecca is joining us @ace_thenorth as Area Director North but it means there is a very important vacancy to fill @SundCulture. Please share with your networks
We're searching for our next Chief Executive to build on our innovative & highly regarded partnership, to deliver on our ambitious programme for change in the city and our mission to improve the lives of everyone in Sunderland through culture.

Very sad to be loosing Sarah Maxfield, but really looking forward to working with @BallBecca who will be based in our Newcastle office
We’re pleased to announce that @BallBecca, currently Chief Executive @SundCulture, will join us as our new Area Director, North, in August. Rebecca takes over from Sarah Maxfield who has been a huge advocate for culture for 14 years at the Arts Council and we wish her well.
