Wake up and meditate until everything is back online. Walk slowly to the coffee shop, feeling every step, like a monk on his morning walk. Feel the air, rise with the sun, and take your first sip slowly. Look at your schedule, gather your concentration, and only then should you get violent.

Be chalant. Dress well. Have good hygiene. Take pride in your work. Think deeply. Speak clearly. Act decisively. Keep your word. Look people in the eye. Hold the door open. Be gracious. Smile often. Write handwritten notes. Remember birthdays. Call your mom (she misses you more than you think). Celebrate others. Be a genuine friend to someone. Wherever you are, be there fully.

Friendly reminder that no one gives a fuck if you fail because when was the last time you gave a fuck if someone else failed? You have you even thought about anyone else's goals today. We only fear failure because we think we are more important than we are.

This whole culture and idea of using AI and agents and whatever else to optimize every aspect of your life is kinda unhealthy. Imagine if you proposed to a six year old that a robot can do their homework so they can spend more time playing outside or doing other not-boring things. It'd sound great in the short term but end up hurting them quickly. We need tedious stuff to exist sometimes or else you'll build up an intolerance to any kind of inconvenience. Boring stuff makes the fun stuff feel more fun. Without it you're cooked. Basically, too much of a good thing is never good. Of course cutting out busy work so you can move faster on the things that matter is great. Trust me I think about it all the time LOL But you'll find that when you try and optimize every little aspect of your life, your focus goes more and more towards moving faster and making progress, and less about enjoying your time. Your life is meant to be lived.

I’ve learned the hard way that the secret to fixing the feeling of there “not being enough hours in the day” is to be working with leverage. We all have at least a general feeling of which tasks are more important than others, and what’s just admin work. So basically, just work on what matters and (almost) everything else will just naturally get solved. You don’t need to optimize every single second of your life, but work smarter not harder and you can lap others 🏃‍♂️

Everyone and everything is rooting for you and working for you! It’s scary to think that if you think that nothing is working and everything is against you, that will become more and more true. It’s also beautiful to understand that if you view the world through the lens of being in your favor, every opportunity, person, and everything will be drawn to you. Although it sounds silly, you get exactly what you think. All you have to do is open your eyes and see how many good things are around you.

I saw a video that said smiling when walking on the street (especially in NYC) leads to more genuine connections, convos, being treated way better, etc I tried it and can confirm it works. Obviously you shouldn’t be smiling for any societal benefits, but I think it’s just refreshing for people to see someone happy and radiating good energy when 99% of people don’t. Being genuine, chalant, showing you care, is what’s needed in a world full of mundaness. TLDR is to get to a point to where you’re so sure of and proud of yourself that you naturally spread joy and lift others up 🧘‍♂️

Although I’m pretty sure it’s clear, this video was made around the idea of everybody’s inner child. I wanted to be accurate so I tried to find a child that resembles younger me as close as possible! Was such a fun (and insane) casting process but very happy with the result
