A russian missile killed an entire Ukrainian family of ten — parents Olena and Artem Voronov and their eight children. Today, five of the children were laid to rest in Radushne, Ukraine. Their parents and three siblings had been buried earlier. May they all rest in peace.

This tweet took a lot of momentum out of the news story here. @FedorovMykhailo made it seem like all was good now. But it’s not. He should readdress this issue because as of now, this tweet has done a lot of damage to Ukraine
Starlink connectivity at speeds of up to 160 km/h is being restored. Removing Starshield’s speed limit entirely is now critical for Ukraine’s defense. Thank you, @elonmusk. We hope for your continued support.

Situation in Dobropilla 🇺🇦/🇷🇺 The situation in the city has recently deteriorated, with Russian forces now being spotted in various neighborhoods and started the first flag videos for their propaganda efforts. For several weeks, if not months, Russian forces have made repeated attempts to infiltrate the area, utilizing two main routes: one leading to the northeast of the city and another, more recently, to the southwest. Russian forces continue to advance into the southern outskirts, particularly following the capture of Bilytske and Shevchenko, and the "gray zone" has now expanded into parts of the city itself. The battle for Dobropilia began a little over a month ago, and we now have a clearer picture of the current, real-world situation. While Ukrainian forces still hold the city, the presence of Russian infiltrators is becoming increasingly apparent. The situation is broadly similar to that of Kostiantynivka a year ago (the city is still disputed); however, Ukraine retains a defensive advantage, as it still controls the flanks, supported by defensive lines that protect the rear of the city, as well as its eastern and northern sides. With autumn and winter approaching, the Russians are under pressure to reach the city, as infiltration will become significantly more difficult once the leaves fall, especially given the defensive lines, trenches, and barbed wire established by the Ukrainians. Right now, the battle for Dobropilia is the primary ongoing engagement; the Russians have committed massive manpower, while the Ukrainian side, defended by the National Guard’s Azov Corps, is fighting for every square kilometer, while their strategic reserves remain held behind for now.

Tillis on Patriot Missiles: I want to know who in the government is saying no to those transfers. This is not even taking it from our inventories. This is allowing it to be transferred from other European nations. Whoever that person is has the blood on their hands every bit as much as Vladimir Putin.

🎯 Russia is a failed nation, a terror state, a mafia pretending to be a country, a people infected with an imperial virus, a gas station with nukes that barely has any gas left, a Chinese vassal that needs perpetual war to stay intact. It should be quarantined, not elevated.

Russian military blogger says Ukrainian mid-range drone strikes on the main Russian supply route in occupied southern Ukraine have almost ceased because of the throttling of Starlink. No need to elaborate on what this new freedom of logistics for Russia means for the frontline.

russia has run into serious problems with its offensive in Donbas, where its forces have become bogged down. One of the main reasons was that russian logistics had been crippled by Ukrainian drone strikes. This campaign depended heavily on Starlink terminals operating on high-speed Ukrainian drones. russian military command identified this as a critical problem and approached the American side, asking it to restrict the speeds at which Starlink terminals could operate. The argument was simple: there would be little public backlash because the US could still claim that Starlink was operational and that the service was still being provided. The Trump administration agreed to the restrictions, effectively solving a critical battlefield problem for Russia. As a result, russian logistics in Donbas are now safer, and Ukraine has lost an important advantage on the battlefield.

Zelensky says that, despite denials from Washington, the throttling of Starlink/Starshield in Ukraine continues. Remarkable how nobody wants to own a clear policy choice, but also doesn’t want to reverse it. American allies are taking note of what may happen to them in case of war.
I held a coordination call on the situation in Ukraine's regions following another wave of Russian attacks. Unfortunately, 28 substations and other critical energy facilities were hit. Restoration work is underway everywhere, and electricity is gradually being restored to people. I am grateful to every repair crew and everyone working for energy companies. The Prime Minister of Ukraine reported on preparing infrastructure for the heating season. We outlined in detail the key areas requiring attention from government agencies and energy companies, as well as regional and local authorities. Ukraine's Minister of Defense, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Presidential Office team have been given urgent tasks regarding contacts with partners who can swiftly strengthen our air defense. There are political agreements that have not been implemented at the working level. There are also delays in certain types of vital supplies at the level of the U.S. Department of War. This evening, we will hold an additional meeting to review the results of all the contacts that must take place throughout the day. I expect concrete results. Together with the Minister of Defense, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Commander of the Air Force, we set additional production capacity for turrets, which have proven highly effective against “shaheds.” We are increasing orders, and it is important to accelerate every process as much as possible – organizational, financial, and production-related. Instructions have been given to engage with the Baltic states on support for our logistics. I expect a report from Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on this. There was also a separate report from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on information received from units using Starlink/Starshield services. Unfortunately, we have established that the equipment stops functioning at speeds of 130–161 kilometers per hour in various sectors of the front. This is slowing down our frontline logistics and limiting the use of various types of drones, particularly mid-strike drones and interceptors of jet-powered “shaheds.” This must be raised again with our partners at every level today – speed matters when it comes to protecting lives. I thank everyone who is helping! Glory to Ukraine!

The USA demonstrates that it can simply disable paid private contracts and act like they never happened. Good luck doing business with any american company
“I’m not sure Zelenskyy knows what he’s talking about,” Rubio says when asked about the reason for Ukraine’s Starlink and Starshield systems being throttled. He says Ukraine wants access to Starshield but doesn’t yet. In fact, Ukraine has had access to and contracts for Starshield since 2024. So it seems the Ukrainian president is not the one who doesn’t know what he’s talking about. It’s been a week and Ukraine still has no answers from the Trump admin nor SpaceX about why the Starlink and Starshield systems have been restricted and who ordered the speed limits. The White House and SpaceX each claim it’s the other who’s responsible. Rubio says nobody in the US is responsible.

So basically critical American technology is being crippled to Ukraine and no one can respond in the government who did that. I imagine that tomorrow Amazon Web services will stop working for France during the elections and the USA won't be able to respond why. Good luck buying anything American.
WELKER: Zelenskyy just said he believes the US government slowed Starlink. Can you definitely say no one in the Trump administration ordered restrictions? BESSENT: President Trump and Secretary Rubio have categorically said that no one in the Trump administration did that. President Zelenskyy should be very careful about making reckless statements like that

Ouch! An inconvenient truth is always unpleasant, but above all, it remains a truth.
People are not giving Obama, Biden or Merkel the credit they deserve for allowing Russia to hang on long enough for Donald to surrender to us.

Well-known Ukrainian military aerial reconnaissance specialist Oleksandr "Serg Marco" Karpiuk writes on Facebook: "...Starlink is a civilian communications system. And SpaceX is responsible for its civilian use. Standard Starlink terminals currently have a default speed limit of 22 m/s. To enable flight at speeds above 22 m/s, Ukraine signed contracts for Starshield, which is overseen by the Pentagon. This is already a military system, with Starlink terminals that offer greater functionality, although the accounts are considerably more expensive. And it was the Pentagon that did two things in a single day: restricted intelligence sharing and changed the parameters of Starshield accounts. This was a decision by the head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth. Clearly on Trump's orders...." Maybe this is the key to understanding what exactly happened.
