PewDiePie says OpenAI banned him twice while he was working on his own AI model.
He claims the first ban was related to “distillation,” while the second happened after he used AI to generate training data.
He has now shown off Ajax, a smaller AI model designed to run directly on a normal home PC. It’s based on Qwen3.5-9B and is built to work with his own self-hosted AI setup
He also used the open-source Heretic tool to remove many of its built-in refusals, while keeping some safety limits.

bro I hate @solana
- every time I want to send a transaction, it's done before I can realize it
- the fees are consistently too cheap for me
- the community is way too goated and only grows
I truly hope this gets better soon.
