@LNER whilst I have every sympathy with your staff having to deal with the rail closure near Edinburgh, more information for all of your stranded passengers would have been very useful. Had I been told how long the line was closed I could have chosen to return home

Via Carlisle. Instead, I have missed two event, one meeting, had an extra overnight stay, spent 9 hours in a queue to then not have the train stop in Durham - my destination. If we are to have a summer of disruption, communication with your customers needs to be much better.
The Bank of England reporting that Brexit is costing the UK £444 million a week. Let’s just let that sink in. Maybe summat for the side of one of your model buses @BorisJohnson

My mother died on 18th Oct. 3 weeks later I received a call from the Govt winter fuel payment dept asking where I wanted her winter fuel payment sent. Apparently she is still entitled to a payment as she was alive on the 26th Sept! What a crazy wasteful system!?!

Five years since my dad was moved to end of life care and mum broke her wrist. I didn’t know whether I would be able to join my channel swim relay team for the swim on 1st August and we didn’t know this was an early indication of mums dementia.
