Everyone, regardless of income, should have safe, reliable access to our most essential resource—water. Shutoffs for low-income households when they cannot pay water bills is a drastic and unnecessary response to poverty. And alternatives to such measures are within our reach!

Don’t ever doubt that your voice matters and your #vote can change the course of our #future. Imagine what the state of our rivers and waterways might have been had Carl Stokes not been elected! @gary_belan #Midterms2022
Carl Stokes served as Cleveland's first Black mayor & changed the course of💧history by championing the #CleanWaterAct. Today, we're honoring Mayor Stokes as an inspiring example—reminding us that our votes, voices, & actions have the power to create immense and lasting change.

Thanks to all who joined us for #ImagineADayWithoutWater! We were deeply inspired by the stories of community & commitment to #OneWater principles from around the world. Here are just a few highlights from this community that had us dreaming of a brighter future for water 😌
If you know me you know I’m a big @LEGO_Group fan. If they make this happen I’ll be a fan for life.
And if you didn’t already know, wastewater people have the best jokes!
LEGO Ideas received a "Sewer Heroes: Fighting the Fatberg" building set idea. 10,000+ supported the project to review phase. If selected, the set goes to development! 🤞 We can't wait to see if it's green-lit... or if it's flushed down the toilet. ideas.lego.com/projects/d653…

My local #water utility @CFPUA installed granular activated carbon filters that remove #PFAS. I met the director @kennyraywald and deputy Beth Eckert to raise a glass of tap to celebrate. Thanks to the $43 million investment my community has some of the country’s cleanest water.
