A big thank you to two powerhouses in the event space. Southern Lights & Services Ltd provide all of our lighting, staging and drapes, and Strawberry Sounds brings the noise. 💡🎵 Here is a snap of our Emerson’s Festival Theatre before we begun the pack down last week.
A MASSIVE shout out to the whole team at @MediaWorksNZ and The Breeze for their support in the lead up to the Festival dates, and helping us push our Boosted campaign. Damian Newell is still on his breakfast spot on @thebreeze1043 from home every week day from 6 – 10am.
Special mention to @OPSAotago who have assisted the Fringe in 2020 with everything from: catering, to student volunteers and naming sponsor for our BlackBox. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to run our program this year, however here is THE NO SHOW testing the space out last week.
Thank you to @PolsonHiggs sticking with us through thick and thin over the past 13 years, and sponsoring the Polson Higgs Opening Night Showcase in 2020. Here is to many years to come! Here’s a flashback from the 2016 Festival.
A special mention goes out to the home of our Opening Night Showcase, and host of various Fringe events - @RegentDunedin. WE WILL RETURN! #dunedinfringe #fringe20in2020
THANK YOU to everyone who has donated to our Boosted Campaign - we have raised nearly $10K! There is just 12 hours left to support over for 750 creatives who were set to bring their amazing projects to life in the 2020 Dunedin Fringe Festival. boosted.org.nz/projects/dune…
Thank you to the team from Go Media for helping cover Dunedin's billboards and busbacks with our artwork!
Shout out to our favourite brewery @EmersonsBrewery who had sponsored our Festival Theatre this year, and were supplying our Festival bar. We’ve been brewing this beautiful friendship for 12 years now. CHEERS to the whole team and we’ll have a cold one for you tonight!
Now is a better time than ever for reflection and gratitude. We’d like to thank @@DnCityCouncil @otagocommtrust and @CreativeNZ who have supported us throughout thick and thin in 2020. Fringe HQ may be closed, but our artwork still shines bright!
Nicola Hansby’s Exquisite Corpse may have fallen victim to the Covid-19 closures but gives us a clever idea for filling a few hours of isolation. ow.ly/xiLJ50yVQGj
Thank you #AlliedPress for printing our beautiful guides and supporting us in all circumstances @odtnews #stardunedin
Thanks for the birthday wishes @NZFringe Sending lots of love back to you and the rest of the community. Stay safe all! #fringe20in2020

Today was supposed to be the day we went live with our incredible Play:Ground 2020 portfolio of work in the @dunedinfringe...instead, a nation prepares to bunker down for the next… instagram.com/p/B-ECxtZpoy-/…
Say HELLO to the absolutely fabulous @GlittaSupernova from Australia.❤️ Our Boosted campaign is still going, and MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has donated so far! Remember - ALL proceeds go straight back to the 2020 Fringe Artists. Link on our website. THANK YOU!
Such a big thank you to everyone that has donated so far.. we have just reached the half way point on our stretched goal of $15,000! Let's keep going 😁 Please support and share! boosted.org.nz/projects/dune…
Great piece in the ODT today! ‘A campaign to raise funds for artists after the cancellation of the Dunedin Fringe Festival has gone ‘‘crazy’’.’ We are just below $7.5k now, such a fantastic response so far. Let’s keep going! Please donate if you can, or share this post!

This is one fantastic option to support the artists who have had their events cancelled @DunedinFringe #2020 Dunedin Fringe Artist Fundraiser | Boosted boosted.org.nz/projects/dune…

Unfortunately the Dunedin fringe had to be cancelled for the safety of everyone in these trying times. Hundreds of artists (including myself!) have lost out big time as a result, so the fringe has started a donation campaign:
Show your support by donating to the Fringe’s Boosted campaign. All money donated will go directly to the Fringe's 2020 artists. Go to our Boosted page for more info and to donate: ow.ly/euqY50yQxe0
