Seems pretty obvious that dropping a Y in at 501 might increase Spikes affinity for its human receptor. Given we’ve had crystal stricture since March, I would have hoped this mutant may have got more attention when discovered in Oct before the shit hit the fan.
800,000 BioNTech vaccines were reportedly delivered to the UK last week. The bottle neck then clearly isn’t production & delivery of vaccine as we were told. What is the UK target for vaccines/week in the absence of limited supply? We delivered only 17% of doses delivered?!
