i did minimal recruiting in dietrich part 1 (yang jie, io, kiroc) and then went straight into part 2 and part 3, so it really had the vibe of look it's all my longtime friends...and this guy who invited himself and won't leave
I didn't consent to this

was annoyed i didn't see this until i got to the office bc it would have been great phone-in-bed reading, but now i'm glad bc i never would have known that on desktop the wired homepage has nathan's face as the mouse cursor. very windows 95, i love it
Would you lie to this man? EXCLUSIVE: Nathan Fielder, codirector of the Elizabeth Holmes documentary ‘You Can See Everything,’ sat down with WIRED for an extended interview—the first he’s given to discuss the film. 🔗 wired.com/story/nathan-field…

i hate this more than i've ever hated anything
Just in: Sacramento Kings guard Ben Simmons is believed to have sustained a torn Achilles tendon at practice Sunday, sources tell ESPN. A suspected season-ending injury for Simmons after rejuvenated and impressive training camp and preseason performances.

this is killing me. two totally normal guys having an interview that's 100% off the record but rest assured you should admire them both for how they conducted themselves in it

1000% definitively How They Are and i'm so glad someone drew it
My favorite thing abt dietrich/Fabio is that I can draw them doing shit like this and its not that weird

never let anyone tell you that you can't make a difference, bc lily and i asked this bar to put on the wnba finals and now the couple sitting next to us is having a huge argument about race that started as a small argument about caitlin clark

fascinating in its own right how definitively he sees his interpretation - don't want to elaborate too much while it's still saturday morning of release weekend, but just!!!! it makes sense but also it's fascinating!!!!!

and to realize he was actively learning how to pilot commercial airplanes in the middle of all of this is insane

the guy in front of me was taking pictures of the screen like he was at a concert. or more accurately, there was a 20 minute stretch of the movie where he kept trying and failing to be fast enough to take a photo while elizabeth holmes was in extreme closeup

i will say that for maybe the first half of the movie i was a little...everyone was hooting and hollering and teeheeing which, same, but it was maybe 10% too much? but then one line gave them a universally shared moment of emotional whiplash and they locked in for the rest of it

cannot articulate how it felt to see that on release day in a nearly sold out showing in one of the bigger theaters they use for like, superhero movies. I KEPT THINKING BACK TO WHEN I SAW WEAPONS AND THE CONSTANT HUM OF "WHATEVER THIS IS, ALL 100+ OF US ARE IN IT TOGETHER RN"
