Viktor Frankl says we can discover meaning in 3 ways: (1) “By creating a work or doing a deed” (2) “By experiencing something or encountering someone” (love, beauty, nature, culture, truth) (3) “By the attitude we take toward unavoidable suffering” Go do it.

There was once a fortress whose walls had begun to crack. For years, the men inside held conferences about the cracks. They wrote reports about the cracks. They promoted people who had become very good at explaining why the cracks were manageable. Then one day, a few men stopped talking about the wall and started rebuilding it. They climbed into the broken places themselves. They hauled stone. They changed the design. They angered people whose careers had been built around maintaining the old wall exactly as it was. Slowly, against resistance, the fortress began to change. Then the governors became nervous. The work was becoming visible. Important people were watching. So someone suggested that, for credibility, the rebuilding should be handed to the senior masons who had spent their entire careers maintaining the original wall. After all, they had rank, titles, and the proper credentials. They looked right standing on the battlements. So the builders were told to step aside. The old masons arrived, inspected the new work, nodded gravely, and began restoring the fortress to standards everyone already understood. Soon the walls looked respectable again. And when they cracked in exactly the same places, everyone was shocked. That is the danger with reform. Institutions often say they want change right up until change starts looking unfamiliar. Then they reach for the safest face in the room and call it credibility. But if the people who built the old wall are always considered more credible than the people willing to rebuild it, the wall was never really being reformed. It was simply being repainted.

Learn the skills to become self-sufficient and build a business. Being an employee long term is a loser's game.
I just got laid off 6+ years of hard work. Zero performance issues. I was never even written up. I still got cut because I’m ultimately a just number on a spreadsheet to them I don’t know what to do. I’m honestly really scared

As someone who very rarely streams their gaming, regardless of platform, I may not be @HelixToolsApp target audience, but I'm having a poke around helixtools.org and it looks like a very nice suite of programs on offer.

Your First Sandy Experience I am genuinely curious. And I bet the answer says a lot about how old you guys are. Which creation of mine did you touch first? Call of Cthulhu? Doom? Quake? Age of Empires (any) Halo Wars? Cthulhu Wars? Or another board game. I've been making games since 1980 and I'd like to know which door you came through.

I’m begging you if you do 2 things in this life only let it be these: 1) Bet on yourself! Don’t play it safe. Take calculated risks & ensure you don’t end up wondering what if when you're too old to do anything about it. 2) Explore personal faith. No one is making it out alive. Find purpose bigger than yourself. Keep seeking the eternal.

I took Naval Ravikant’s tweet thread "How to Get Rich (without getting lucky)" & made $6M with it. Here’s how: 1. "Seek wealth, not money or status."

If you want to dramatically improve your quality of life, learn to recover your attention quickly after something steals it. Social media arguments, stressful thoughts, minor inconveniences. Most of it is noise that steals hours to days of enjoyment. Breathe and let it go.
