Does anyone have the original PDF posted on 31 October 2008? I would greatly help me on my current research.

#SatoshiNakamoto maybe you know candidates passing the restrictive exclusion filters and still matching my "Satoshiness" criteria.arxiv.org/abs/2206.10257
With my latest findings, many Satoshi candidates can be ruled out with the best possible certainly. arxiv.org/abs/2206.10257
#SatoshiNakamoto #satoshi With new inputs through intensive research and info's from enthusiasts, I could implement a new major update of the origins of Bitcoin, and the Satoshi profile arxiv.org/abs/2206.10257
Wht did Satoshi Nakamoto disappear? Well, the genius may have considered the job requiring his input delivered in late 2010, and his intellectual curiosity might have driven him "to move on to other things ...".

Still, the hierachical catalogue of "Satoshi Nakamoto" criteria presented here will certainly be useful to unroot false, often unwanted nominations, and to unbunk "Faketoshis".

It may even be very beneficial for the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency community to maintain a myth of its foundation.

Overall, it is virtually impossible to confirm the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto against his will, simply because we do not have analogue records , and his tremendous expertise in obfuscating his digital fingerprints.

It is hard to rule out the team option. The main counter-argument would be that the commitment to not come out or to move coins would have to be fortified by a solidly sanctioned pledge, or destruction of private keys.

Is Satoshi Nakamoto a team? It was recently reported that teh DHS visited "him" in the early days, and met four individuals from California. Speculation was projected towards the founders of Ripple.

A Satoshi Nakamoto is certainly not showing off in life by wealth, or having an exposed role in the public. He is probably more interested that his intellectual outcomes contribute to the goals of his personal ideology.

Once you have idenified your "candidate", check for possible reasoning why he/she/they would not have touched their about 1 million BTC assets. Rich otherwise, altruism, compromised privacy at BTC exchanges?

Now we go into the CV & psychgram:
- Extrodinary intellectual achievements
- Twists & turns in career & private path
- Quirky
- Better coding than writing
- Seeking background, not limelight
- Fanatic about privacy

So we are essentially at a handful, say 5-10, Satoshi Nakamoto candidates. Amonst this very small group, who did have the time (after-hours?), money to support himself (for 1-2 years), strong resolve and privacy mindset.

Then think of interests and skill sets required, like cryptography, programming (C++), privacy (TOR, I2P), financial systems, economics / game theory, distributed computing, law (freedom of speech), and cryptocurrencies.

Now take a hundred candidates, apply filters for the age group, residence / language skills, affiliation with Britain / Commonwealth ("The Times" headline in the genesis block), and the group shrinks significantly.

A world-leading cryptographer estimated that only a few 100 cryptographers were around in 2008, e.g., those attending the annual CRYPTO meeting in Santa Barbara, who could have invented Bitcoin.
