Churches are told: Adapt to the culture or you will die. The opposite is true. The mainline churches went progressive and are dying. The non-denominational churches are Bible-based and are thriving:

One reason I LOVE engaging Muslims in the public square is that many Muslim women, for cultural or religious reasons, would never approach me to talk about Jesus. But they’ll stand there and listen intently. And here’s something I’ve learned: Sometimes the greatest breakthrough for a Muslim isn’t an argument. It’s a friendship with someone outside their religious community who shows them that loving God and living a life devoted to Him is possible outside of Islam. You have to understand how powerful the mental barriers can be when you’ve spent your entire life being taught that leaving Islam means abandoning God, your family, and everything good. Sometimes just SEEING someone who loves Jesus begins to challenge everything you’ve been told. Never underestimate the power of the public square. The person God is reaching might not be the person you’re debating. It might be the one silently listening.

Lula's first words after stealing the Brazil election: "We need to regulate social media". 4 years to the day that Elon Musk purchased 𝕏 and gave the people free speech, the tyrants are doing everything they can to suppress it. From the EU to Lula.

Ethiopia: Local government collaborated with Islamist militias to massacre Christians.
Ethiopia: At least 47 Ethiopian Christians were killed, and another 18 hospitalized, in coordinated attacks targeting them in the Oromia region. Surviving witnesses claimed regional authorities collaborated with Islamist militias to carry out the massacre. Church leaders have repeatedly warned local authorities about armed groups entering the area, but received no serious response. This is not an isolated incident, but rather part of a pattern of targeted attacks against Ethiopian Christians, who militants conflate with Amhara ethnicity. This fusion of religious and ethnic violence against innocent Christians and their churches must not be tolerated. We condemn these evil acts and call for the protection of Ethiopia’s Christians.

I’m nearly 64, and I have 3 grown children (all married), and 9 grandchildren. My sons own their homes, and my daughter and her husband are making good progress towards buying a home in the next few years. But my practice with regard to their lives is not what I experienced when I became an adult. The passive, “you’re on your own” approach of my parent’s generation doesn’t make sense today. Inter generational success requires an inter generational approach. A premodern philosophy needs to be recovered and adapted to the contemporary world.

When I was Muslim, I never noticed what the Quran DOESN'T have. Namely, exact dates, exact places or exact titles or names you can check. Bro, when you read the Quran’s stories there is literally zero chronology, almost no geography, kings called only “Pharaoh,” events floating in no particular year. It is incredibly vague. You cannot get answers to questions like: Where did the story happen? When? Under whom? The text doesn’t say. You can’t check it, which conveniently means you can’t check it. Now, contrast that to the Bible, read the opening of Luke 3: “In the FIFTEENTH YEAR of the reign of TIBERIUS CAESAR — PONTIUS PILATE being governor of JUDEA, HEROD being tetrarch of GALILEE, his brother PHILIP tetrarch of ITUREA and TRACHONITIS, and LYSANIAS tetrarch of ABILENE, during the high priesthood of ANNAS and CAIAPHAS…” SEVEN historical anchors in one sentence. An emperor, a governor, three rulers with their exact territories, two high priests. And people HAVE checked — for centuries, often trying to break it. Skeptics mocked Luke’s “Lysanias of Abilene” as an error… UNTIL an inscription naming Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene turned up. Pilate was called legend by some… until the Pilate Stone was dug up at Caesarea in 1961 with his name and title carved in it. Luke 1:3-4 tells you why: “Having followed all things closely… that you may have CERTAINTY.” Certainty. That’s the offer of the Bible. The Quran floats above history where nothing can touch it. The Bible planted its flag in checkable ground and said: dig. I dug. It’s still standing. Praise the Lord and His mighty God-Breathed scripture.

The Quran’s Pharoah is very different from the Bible’s Pharoah. Let me show you: The Quran’s Pharaoh threatens crucifixion AND commands a tower, two anachronisms stacked into a single villain. With the Quran’s Pharoah, we saw crucifixion in Egypt is a thousand years early (Surah 7:124). Now add the tower: Pharaoh tells Haman to build a tower to the heavens (Surah 40:36), the Babel motif, from Babylon, centuries before Moses. So the Quran’s Pharaoh is a composite of anachronisms: he crucifies (Persian/Roman method), commands a Babel-tower (Babylonian motif), and employs Haman (Persian villain). Three separate historical elements, from three separate eras, layered onto one Egyptian ruler. The Bible’s Pharaoh is period-consistent: he enslaves with brick-and-mortar labor (Exodus 1:14, accurate to Egyptian construction), his magicians perform real Egyptian court sorcery (Exodus 7:11), and the plagues target specific Egyptian deities. The Bible’s Egypt reads like Egypt. The Quran’s Egypt reads like a blend of later empires. And the Bible’s Exodus is the master-picture of salvation: a lamb slain, blood on the door, death passing over, a people redeemed out of slavery through the water. Exodus 12; 1 Corinthians 5:7. Every detail the Bible kept was load-bearing for the gospel it was building. The retelling swapped the details. The Bible guarded them, because they were pointing to the Lamb.

Great point—excluding those who disagree with you (but aren’t actually breaking rules) is very female-coded. It’s not honorable, and not how men fight.
When I say that women lack the concept of an honorable enemy, this is what I’m talking about. Obviously a lot of the Democrats’ new vindictiveness is Trump derangement, but the Great Feminization is part of the story, too. Men understand that the other guy is a professional just like me, and we should have an open fight by fair rules and both go home at the end of the day. For women, conflict isn’t over until the other side is gone and they never have to talk to them again. Men believe in hierarchy, so a fight is about establishing dominance within the hierarchy and making the other guy subordinate. Women don’t, everything is egalitarian and consensus-driven, so if you do get conflict, the only possible outcome is total exclusion from the group. It makes sense that the Democratic Party is abandoning old-fashioned ideas about honorable conflict as it becomes more dominated by women.

Please pray for one of our brothers in the Lord, he sent this text to us in a GC this morning. Details removed to protect privacy. "Please pray urgently. My wife was taken in an ambulance for emergency c section this morning and it does not look good" then later "Our son was born this morning without a heartbeat. After 17 minutes they were able to restart it. He is 5lb 10oz. I got to see him briefly and he is not moving or doing well at all. He is currently intubated and going to be taken to another hospital this morning. Please pray the Lord would spare his life"

Nigeria: Christian journalist and human rights activist, Lawrence Zongo, has been arrested at a military hospital in Jos. He was there visiting injured family members recently attacked by armed Muslim militants. Authorities are reportedly denying him access to legal counsel and his family. No legitimate charges have been announced. According to @masskeemz, Lawrence serves with both @TruthNigeria123 and @AmnestyNigeria. Lawrence Zongo must be immediately released. Pray for him as he faces this injustice while also mourning for his family.

There comes a time in the Christian man’s life when he is faced with the decision to do what is right or be a coward and enable evil. Talk about the Bible’s authority is cheap. God wants action.
