I love getting a solid cold email or DM from founders! No need for an intro to 1517. Some things will make your message standout and get a response (faster than others)🧡:

Bringing navigation into the 21st century. We need better than GPS - Xona is kicking ass. Centimeter accuracy.
6 satellites launched, 6 satellites contacted. Things looking good so far!

Our first genetically selected horse embryos going up for public auction on Sunday! Expecting it to sell for $35k+ Wheely is a really fast stakes broodmare we purchased after we found she had a variant in her growth hormone that could possibly create speed and size advantages

It’s wild how many GPs try to argue with me after I pass. I’m not sure what outcome they’re hoping for, but it’s never changed my mind. The best thing a GP can do is go prove me wrong and keep me updated. That has a much better shot at changing my mind. We don’t always get it right, but getting hostile after a pass only ever makes me feel better about passing.

tidying and cleaning your space is a clear sign to the universe that U love and care for yourself, that U are grateful for what U have received and are a faithful steward of the blessings that come to U, and that U are ready to receive much, much, much more ❀️

We noticed this early in the Thiel Fellowship.
One of the biggest problems with sending children to public school is that they learn the habits of dependence - be where you’re told, do what you’re told, accept what you’re told to be the truth. The system is not designed to produce independent people.

Nearly one hundred men died building this great work Their martyrdom is obviously tragic, but too few have the courage to admit that their sacrifice was a good thing

Spent 3 days last week with @DStrachman, @William_Blake & the @1517fund fam, including a day at her place. 1517 was @invariantes first fund investment in 2015. Exceptional returns, but they also helped shape me as an investor. Rare investors build companies & fellow GPs. Love ya!

A girl just said she tried to get rejected 1000 times in 2025 and ended up being cast in plays, winning pageants, securing hella paid brand deals, and appearing in commercials. This is your sign to chase rejection to the point of "accidental" success. You'll be surprised.

There is a network of small farms upstate that sell to Michelin-starred restaurants and I’ve been trying to get them to do a farm box to households in NYC. They’re doing a pilot. Sign up link below. The apple tree is from the 1800s: God has spent centuries perfecting these apples.

they say you need to "re-parent" yourself once you have kids and damn if that isn't true. I was feeling downcast about my cute mother daughter Halloween costume idea, and I almost decided to scrap it and do nothing instead. Then I realized the reason why was because I was imagining my daughter as a hostile teen looking back on the photos some day. I imagined her rolling her eyes and feeling annoyed that her mom was assuming a closeness and sentimentality that never had any hope of materializing between us. and sure there's all kinds of reasons this is coming up for me--from the relationship I had with my own mom as a teen, to the struggles I have right now being a step-mom to a teen daughter, to the implicit assumption I carry into any relationship that I'm destined to be rejected--but I don't need to immediately resolve any of this. what I need is to touch grass. My baby is 4mo. I am currently the light of her life. Her face brightens like the sun when she sees me or hears me. she's snuggled on my chest sleeping right now. why would I pre-reject myself and deny us both a cute memory to look back on out of fear we won't want to look back on it?? I'm going to do the cute mother daughter costume, and I'm going to do it to capture the real bond we *already* have right now. and let adolescence bring what it will.

Saturday night at 1517: Catch up on the inbox and watch videos of young people writing in. Get obsessed with a young man from Australia and watch a 20 min video of him geeking out about all the things. Not reading off a script, not trying to look good. Just unabashedly being his gloriously weird and geeky self. Excited to learn more about him next week.
