9 days to go for the launch, and here’s what the Vaani Team is doing right now:
Distribution: finalising the plan to get Vaani in front of a wider audience on the launch day.
Tech: final polishing of the amazing features the team has built to make the agents behave more humanly.
Business: hosting tons of online and IRL events to help the developers build on Vaani’s powerful voice harness.
Content: shooting the launch videos.
People: getting new hires ready for the new roles, because launch day is just the start of work, not the end.
Our goal with this launch: To make our custom voice AI platform accessible to all and take Vaani to the world ✈️

Most voice AI is built in English and stretched to other languages. You hear it when a caller switches between Hindi and English mid-sentence.
We’ve built voice agents for 30+ businesses across 10+ languages and accents, using one internal tool.
So we opened a public beta and shaped the platform with them.
Models make an agent speak like a human. Our orchestration platform makes it behave like one: the greeting, the instructions, what happens when a caller pushes back.
We are launching on Product Hunt on Oct 29, for founders, product managers and teams who want a voice agent to live in their customers’ language, without building the stack.
I spent this morning at @OpenAI Founders Day hanging out with the team at the frontier lab, their partnerships team, and other super-talented founders running $10M to $100M companies.
OpenAI is working on a lot of interesting stuff. Here are some of the observations:
1. Token usage at the top firms is running 8 to 10x the typical firm. And has significantly grown over the last 8 months. Now if you look at this, it's not a simple adoption; its rewiring how companies function.
2. ChatGPT Space: Where human teams and aI agents share one context, working the same problem side by side. Like a workspace.
3. ChatGPT now lives inside Slack and Teams.
4. OpenAI Auth to sing into different websites.
5. Codex is now in the cloud and CLI also has a facelift.
6. Dev platform now has tons of features in it.Everyone is fighting over the model.
The ones compounding quietly are building the operating layer on top. Harness, context, tools, memory. Get that right and the model underneath becomes swappable. That is the layer we are building at @VaaniHQ, but for speech.
Like OpenAI, Vaani is going after the harder architecture and infra problems for low-resource languages & dialectal geographies.
And as Marc puts it, this is the best time to build. Genuinely.

Last day at this old office of @VaaniHQ. This one has seen countless memories, tears, fights, high and lows. It was our home when we needed it the most. Cannot be more prouder of the phenomenal journey we have had here for the last 16 months. From 3 people to 19, from no product to something world-class and half a million ARR. From those frugal early days and small wins we celebrated over a beer and poker 🥺

We didn't have a booth at GFF Mumbai.
So we decided to host a dinner instead.
Except, by Sunday night, we didn't have a venue either.
Someone cancelled their booking. We found out. Planned the whole thing on Sunday night. And somehow, by Tuesday evening, we had a room full of some incredible people.
We hosted leaders from banking, finance, CXOs, HNIs, VCs, and some genuinely fascinating leaders from across the ecosystem in one room - just a day before GFF kicked off.
Just people exchanging stories, ideas, disagreements, and probably a few opinions that won't ever make it to social media :)
