One of Today’s Stops 📍 Silver Lake High School (3A🏐) Silver Lake Volleyball is off to a 10-2 start this season as the Eagles continue to find their rhythm while dealing with some injuries along the way. Coming off last year’s 3A State Championship, Silver Lake has been working through some early-season challenges while building chemistry and finding consistency with a mix of returning players and new faces. Head coach Sarah Johnson is in her 19th year leading the Eagles, who will face a big test tomorrow against Holton and Sabetha. Avery Grunert with Sports in Kansas caught up with seniors Kylie Hanni, Jaylie Whitehead, and Junior Karys Deitet, at practice to talk about their 10-2 start, overcoming early-season adversity, how the team has adjusted through injuries and what they’re looking forward to as the season continues! #sportsinkansas
