That Commanders ending feels like the spiritual successor to the Gus Frerotte headbutt game (also a tie vs. the Giants in that very building!) but upped the ante on the incompetence and heartbreak. All-time blunder.

I’m in total disbelief my Commanders had such poor clock management in today’s overtime game against the Giants. All we had to do was kick the field goal and we would have won the game!🤦🏾‍♂️

The problem for Quinn is that he and his staff botched lots of game management stuff earlier in the game/season anyway, so it’s not like that last sequence is some wild outlier. Horrendous.

QB has to throw it away but why even run that play to begin with? Ridiculous you’d even chance nonsense with no time left, so coaching staff will get the most heat as they should.

Shefty hedge reporting aside, it’s ridiculous how this team needs their one-armed QB to save the head coach’s job and the GM’s reputation. Feels like a bad ending is coming even if Daniels avoids re-injury.

Refs have been awful but the pre-snap penalties are just simple mistakes. Playing w a 3rd string QB makes it tough. But in the 2nd half of this game Jon Taylor got just about whatever he wanted

wonder if it takes Jayden until like mid- October to truly play free this year. new offense, new play style and frankly just getting back to playing real games every week could delay the “remember me” game fans want.

There a bunch of storylines for this game against the Cowboys, but I'm watching Jayden Daniels. I want to see is he plays a bit more "free". It's who he's been. It's who he should be, but smarter about it, which he appears to be.
