thinking: data is addictive in product leadership, and likely to intoxicate the judgment of those who lack vision and conviction.

This cloud-free view of Ireland, the Emerald Isle, was captured from space by our Aqua satellite back in 2010. Happy #StPatricksDay!
ALT A vertically-oriented image of Ireland, as seen from space. The photo is almost completely free of clouds, except for a few wisps in the bottom-left, so the lush greens of the island stand out against the dark-blue water surrounding it. We’re so excited about this; @christian_ryder, @theapprocks and I set out 6 years ago to try and make push notifications truly user first for billions of people in a new way, and this opportunity to work with @Twitter fulfils that in so many ways more than we ever imagined.
1/ Today, I’m excited to share that Twitter has acquired @OpenBackHQ, a mobile platform that helps make apps more engaging through device-side control of push notifications.

In Q1 2019, 39% of Stripe's hiring was outside Bay Area and Seattle. Last quarter, it was 74%. I think the rate at which tech industry is going global is still under-appreciated, and that this will be a big tailwind for the world over the next decade.
Powerful analysis and thinking about future evolution of technology + the web, gets to so much more than web3 and dApps, including touching the role of user device/client
Wrote some notes summarizing my first impressions of web3: moxie.org/2022/01/07/web3-fi…
