Oh hey! Nice little 20th anniversary present for Google Docs users. Also oof I feel old.

Imagine growing up in absolute dirt poverty in east Tennessee, daughter of a tobacco farmer, going to school wearing rags your mother stitched into a coat, and when you die the British royal family has its military band play your up-the-workers country-pop anthem in tribute.

*taps the sign* Please watch this @imPatrickT video. He explains it so well that I really have nothing to add.
I've joined @TrustVanta! GRC reminds me of the shift-left devops community from @pagerduty with the deep security focus of @okta, and the Vanta llama helps me deal with @asana creature withdrawal. Best in class product, amazing team, responsibly AI pilled, ready to rock.

Again, @sfplanning's design guidelines make this structure totally illegal due to lack of "articulation", window recessions, setbacks, "floor differentiation", retail awning overhangs, etc.
@DanielLurie, we need to abolish or massively reform design guidelines lest we ruin SF.
Wild lack of preparedness for 2026. I think I saw six different errors over half an hour or so. #hugops to the on-call engineers but shame on the leadership for not doing the obvious prep and resilience work.
Demand for #TheOdyssey Imax screenings was so high that AMC's ticketing app briefly paused after tickets went on sale.
Fandango also appeared to struggle, with users reporting long wait times.

We’ve fought for more than a decade to bring back 8th grade algebra for kids who are ready & interested. We’re finally on the verge, but the school district’s new proposal creates a significant barrier — requiring kids who want to take algebra in 8th grade to also take regular 8th grade math.
Kids shouldn’t be required to take two math classes, which will simply force them to give up an elective. The district should avoid this barrier & let 8th graders choose to take algebra as their sole math class.
🚨 We need you to take action 🚨
We fought to bring back 8th grade algebra. SFUSD’s proposed version forces kids to give up an elective to take it.
That’s not real access.

I'm pretty allergic to AI hype and can genuinely say AI Teammates are amazing — I'd self fund if I didn't have access to them from working here! It really is like having an additional member of your team for everything from rote operational work to high level strategy.
This understates the disparity. If you factor in overtime (which many teachers work but don't get paid for), police officers are making much, much more. Believe I saw a figure that was median $290k for cops.

And then wrote down in journal “This is going to be the biggest financial mistake I will make this year, isn’t it.”
I had no idea @SFMTA_Muni was doing this, but what a thoughtful program! sfmta.com/text-tow-program
Big claps for RBAC beta on the @okta Workflows roadmap! 👏🏻 Also great security, logging, connectors and reporting. So much good stuff — congrats to the whole team.
Oktane's marked the progress of @okta Workflows each year — from the initial announcement, to GA, to platform launch and our very first "Flowcase" last year. Now cool to watch from the sidelines with ~1000 people on the stream!

I've been playing with the new AI stuff internally at @asana and frankly it's amazing. So fast and easy to summarize complex tasks, bootstrap workflows, and get insights into the work around me. I run on the skeptic side but I'm really excited about what the future holds here.
