After watching the film here’s my hot take from Penn State vs Wisconsin… the PSU coordinator that deserves the most blame is D’anton Lynn, not Taylor Mouser Becht sold Mouser so many times. Mouser wasn’t great but he schemed up some very good calls that were not executed. No matter how you feel that’s the truth. Mouser was dealing with a QB that was having the worst game of his career Here’s why I say Lynn deserves more blame: •Penn State’s blitz game/Pass Rush is utterly horrific •Continues to leave Marcus Neal in Man Coverage •11 Missed Tackles •2nd and 20 and Wiscy is on their own 6 and you aren’t on alert for a Screen? They hit you for 30 yards •The 3 turnovers were all gifts from Joseph. Those weren’t turnovers created, those were turnovers gifted •Wisconsin really can’t complete a downfield pass, but somehow you let them run it down your throat and hit the flats over and over on those final 2-3 drives?

So remember when I did this film study last week on how bad PSU’s blitz packages were? There was a lot of cope from folks saying “they are just saving the good stuff” … nah it doesn’t work that way. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya
