I’ll leave this right here from my conversation with K1 in August: “In today’s time, a lot of guys take the money and run. The money is going to be there. The money is going to come. I wasn’t going to chase money. I wanted to chase a place that made me feel like I was at home.”

Selmon and Jeff Lebby knew what they had in Taylor before the season. Taylor was very clear to me that if he wanted to chase money elsewhere, he would have done so this offseason. Family members told me they’re tiring of talk that he might bolt. The kid is immersed in maroon.
NEW: Mississippi State AD Zac Selmon to @AndyStaples on keeping star QB Kamario Taylor in Starkville for the future:
"We’re going to be as competitive as we need to be."

I think people are confusing “Mississippi State hasn't historically spent like the biggest NIL collectives” with “Mississippi State doesn't have money.”
Those aren't the same thing.
State was 6th among public SEC schools in athletic donations last year at $59.1M... ahead of Auburn, Georgia, A&M, & Florida.
If Kamario Taylor wants to make $10 million playing somewhere next year, he will. Hard to believe Mississippi State retains him, unless he’s the most loyal player in CFB lol

Our whole family is devastated to hear of Dolly’s passing. Dolly was an icon, a legend, a world unto herself. But even more, she was mom’s friend. She was her “mountain sister”. They understood each other. Our hearts go out to all of Dolly’s family and team. We take comfort in knowing the Honky Tonk Angels are together again and that one day, we will hear them live again. Sending our love, The Lynn Family

Don Rickles showed up on a local news show in 1985 and immediately started acting like he was being held hostage.
Roasting the host, the show, the entire setup no warm-up, no filter.
This is what pure insult comedy looked like when a master refused to play nice for daytime TV.
Still undefeated

An emotional Ben McDonald tells Paul Finebaum about getting the call last night that Skip Bertman wasn’t doing well, driving to Baton Rouge and getting the chance to visit with him.
Ben said Skip looked at him and told him, “It’s the bottom of the 9th.” 🥺💔
"This guy changed college baseball. ... He changed the game in so many ways."
@realbenmcdonald reflects on the life and legacy of LSU legend Skip Bertman with @finebaum:
