Ooh let's also not forget that mask laws are not new to America. During the spanish flu epidemic in the early 1900s it was decreed unpatriotic to not wear your mask. So... Should be the same now right?

I genuinely don't understand the difference between a mask law and drunk driving laws, except that if we follow the mask law, it will end.
Makes sense to me. We also don't freak out when we get tickets for not wearing a seat belt. So why should we freak out over a different safety law.
