There's a new beta for macOS with a new, interesting feature: Upload Hooks.
They allow you to call a URL, CLI command, or Apple Shortcut with information about the upload before or after the upload happens. It can help you to integrate Dropshare into even more workflows.
LibreCam is my newest product; a zero-processing RAW camera app for iPhone. If you're into iPhone photography, you should check it out.
Great news: Starting today, all Dropshare apps - including the newly released Android app - support all the same storage providers.

This is not a drill: Dropshare is now available on Android. It’s in open beta, and thus free for the next 2 weeks.

I made a mistake today which is a first for me in 15 years of App Store: I wanted to set up parity pricing for the In-App Purchase of Annotate, but instead changed the regular price of the app from 0€ to the IAP unlock price. I have been made aware and the error has been fixed.
Annotate, our new image annotation app for iOS, has received some new updates in the past days.
There’s new tools (highlight, watermark), Apple Shortcuts integration, Photo Editing and Action extension for in-place editing and more.

Upload Encryption for the iOS app is now in TestFlight beta. Some tester slots are still available:

Dropshare 6.11 adds upload encryption:
Automatically encrypt sensitive files prior uploading, share them as usual with a link, and provide the receiving party with the decryption key in a secure side channel. Stay protected in transit and on the storage.

If you want to move your file-sharing workflow to the EU, Dropshare makes that easy. Because it supports many storage providers, you can build an EU-focused setup with services like @Hetzner_Online Object Storage, @KoofrNet and other EU-based providers.

If your screenshot workflow is screenshot → Finder → upload → copy link, here’s how to remove the friction.
dropshare.app/blog/posts/11-…
A thing I’ve believed for a while: file sharing on the Mac should feel way more native than it usually does.
Too many workflows are still:
take screenshot → find file → upload manually → wait → copy link → send link
That’s too much friction for something people do all day.
I also think this matters more than feature checklists do:
good Mac software should disappear into your routine.
Keyboard shortcuts. Finder workflows. Screen recordings. Uploads that just happen. Links ready when you need them.
Less ceremony, more flow.
If that kind of workflow sounds familiar, Dropshare might click for you:
