I just have to publicly say:
The Community Development dept at @CityofCleveland has mastered the environmental review process for home repairs funded by gov’t dollars.
When I started at WPKND, this crucial step in the process took months. We just got one done in TWO DAYS.
I would be perfectly fine with Morgan Wallen having a concert in Brook Park instead of my great city.
Honestly I’m blown away by this!
Claim your unclaimed funds before the Ohio Senate grabs them for the Browns Boondoggle. Yesterday the Senate announced its claiming your hard earned dollars for Haslam Sports Group Stadium Boondoggle.

Working Ohioans owed more.
In 2024, @Microsoft made a net of $88 billion.
Today, they announce they're cutting one of their largest nonprofit discount programs - the free 10 licenses for eligible nonprofits.
Shame on them.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they're gone... but I don't think I'll ever get over the fact that there used to be a store in Old Brooklyn that sold used appliances, lingerie & pit bulls. #memories
Now that my property taxes went up $1100/yr (😬), all I want is for @FifthThird to honor my request and increase my monthly payment proactively, but they won’t do it. 😭
Also, let this be a reminder to Cuyahoga County residents to save now for your escrow bill!
I’m one of @Britewinter’s biggest fans and constantly adverse to change when I love something as is…
But moving to the East Bank was a brilliant decision! It felt like an injection of new energy. Kudos to the team!

Rest in peace brilliant disruptive/loving/deepest Clevelander through&through, what a light you were to us, teaching our darkest nights could lead, if we are brave enough, to a bright morning - oh Richey, you were the realest of them all, thank you cityclub.org/forums/2024/05/…
If any other nonprofit is given over $500k in a single gift, it almost always gets covered across local Cleveland media.
Make it $800k for housing at risk folks AND in the underinvested neighborhood of St Clair Superior, all the new nonprofit media outlets would be covering it.
Amazing LGBTQ+ news for Northeast Ohio.

So I can’t help but feel a certain sort of way over this amazing news not becoming and being treated like actual news.
But it does make me entirely grateful to have @TheBuckeyeFlame and @DrKenSchneck!
It also proves its importance. LGBTQ bias is not behind us.
Ribbon cuttings are much more fun when it’s dozens of kids doing the cutting!
Big congrats to Friends of Impett Park for their leadership. Proud to have Cleveland’s most accessible new playground in the heart of West Park.

Thanks to Dante’s Pizza for the afternoon pick me up. We needed it!
As a reminder, calories do not count this week.
