Bricked Cybertruck! It's working perfectly, but I feel the compulsion to be prepared for just about anything. Has anyone tried hiding a small 9 or 12 volt battery in with the leads to be able to pop the frunk if the low voltage dies? I have a jump pack in the frunk, but it's not practical to store it outside the vehicle where I could get into the frunk in the first place.

Replying to @drmaudio @piloly
Yes, 2026 Q3 YTD of 1,324,681 is the all-time high, edging out 2023's 1,324,074 by 607 vehicles.

Today my passenger was late. I took advantage of the time to go see my First Officers new to him Dual Motor Model Y. As we were looking at it, a new Model Y Juniper pulled up right next to us and who should step out but my Late 70's Passenger. This man has driven a Lincoln most, if not all of his driving life and traded each one in for the next. I said, "You know that I'm a fan of Teslas, but I never thought I would see you stepping out of the driver seat of one." He said, "Me either, but this one drives me to work." Lincoln to Tesla never would have happened, but non-FSD to FSD, that happened.

I noticed what might be a change in the way streaks are counted in 14.3.8. Here mine says 69.7, but there was a fair amount of non FSD driving in there. It may just be a glitch, but It seems as long as you don’t disconnect, it keeps counting the streak.

For instance, there was a manual three mile drive home after dropping off one of my kids friends right in the middle of that 70 mile "streak." but since I allowed the FSD drive to finish before manually driving, the streak picked up where I left off when I next engaged FSD.

I was programmed from early childhood to like the Cybertruck📐 1980's Battle Zone. The first 3D video game.

I’ve been seeing more of these Zeekr Waymo’s running around. They seem to be a little more confident than the Jaguar cars. Can anyone who has ridden in one comment on that?

Saw this Cybercab on the 101 in Phoenix. It was a testing/training unit with controls/driver. Still good to see one here in person.

With just a little driving on my 59k Cybertruck I’m seeing way better Wh/mi numbers than I was expecting. This includes just more than 1/2 freeway. Any one else seeing numbers like this?

My 59k Cybertruck finally came in with no warning. The estimated delivery window went from “July15-Aug5”, to “2027” straight to “at your delivery location” with a vin and available pickup on the same day 🤷‍♂️📐. It’s been a rollercoaster, but I’m happy to have it.

I'm trying not to get excited. It doesn't mean much till you get a VIN, but this is the third time I've been within a single digit number of days of my estimated window; twice to have it rug pulled to weeks or months out. I keep telling myself it's worth it for the 59k price.

While compulsively checking my 60K Dual Motor Standard Cybertruck order, the app asked me to complete a few pre delivery tasks. No VIN yet, but the assistant went from saying "2027" to this. Not sure how bankable that is, but it feels like progress.
