Two things about the #FutureOfWork. You can’t call your org future-focused or future-thinking if 1) your leaders & experts don’t reflect our diverse world or care to create equity/inclusion; & 2) you’re still bound to a physical office instead of using flexible, virtual working.

I ❤️ a good Fall weekend to boost life-work #wellbeing. Today, I sent letters to voters, early voted, borrowed library books, did fun shopping, & got local ice cream w/the kids. Heading to a haunted house later & will be carving pumpkins tomorrow. 🍁🎃🍁🎃🍁 #AutumnVibes #Vote

#RemoteWork made it possible for me to ditch the commute and be better rested, healthier, and way more productive. 4/

Reimagining success, giving people more choices about work, & expanding access to #WorkplaceFlexibility for more workers is a way to build more #inclusion, #wellness, & #equity now and into the #FutureOfWork. /end

"Workplaces Can Be Engines of Mental Health and Well-Being" It is one of the main takeaways from the US Surgeon General's report & framework on the importance of #WorkplaceWellbeing. It’s worth reading the full report—great stuff inside. #MentalHealth hhs.gov/sites/default/files/…

Our lives & work are not separate spheres. I’ve seen the toll that unhealthy workplaces take on people's mental & physical health. That's why being a Licensed Mental Health Counselor was always an integral part of how I approached #career counseling & coaching w/my clients. 🧵 1/

Haha my son just gave me unsolicited SEO advice and when I told him it was for LinkedIn, he said “What’s LinkedIn?” My cringey response (according to him):

One #FutureOfWork trend we identified at @CatalystInc several years ago was around the shifting expectations of life and work—and we have only seen it accelerate since then. 1/

The new 2022 Women in the Workplace report from McKinsey & LeanIn provides more evidence that companies and execs who have been trying to turn back this paradigm shift are losing ground—and also losing their talented #WomenLeaders. 2/ #FutureOfWork axios.com/2022/10/18/compani…

At @CatalystInc, we say workplaces that work for #women work for everyone. Let's work together create a more equitable #FutureOfWork for women—and for everyone. /end #WorkplaceFlexibility #WomenAtWork #LifeWorkIntegration catalyst.org/research/women-…
It’s exhausting. Please stop untitling women.
Women doctors were twice as likely than their male counterparts to be called by their first names by patients, and PCPs were 50% more likely to be called by their first name than specialty doctors, a new study finds. n.pr/3Sa1Ix2

Every time I read this, I find it almost eerie how the trends I identified are still unfolding and evolving in our accelerated #FutureOfWork. Check it out—I would love to know your reactions and also your thoughts about which trends are still to come. catalyst.org/research/women-…

A #FutureOfWork story 🧵 C-suite exec: We’re concerned that #remote & #HybridWork will hurt women’s careers. Me: It’s not remote/hybrid work that hurts women’s careers. It’s inequitable work cultures/practices that exist in any workplace regardless of schedule or location. 1/
