This summer marked the 1st anniversary of my dad's death from esophageal cancer. I can’t put a price on the memories made in his final months, but I know they were made possible by the medical innovation and the hope it provides. Read more via @LinkedIn: linkedin.com/pulse/when-inno…

Honored to discuss #healthpolicy, #policyanalysis, & the amazing opportunities a PharmD creates w/ students @RutgersU Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. We discussed the unintended consequences of the #IRA's #DPNP & #PBM reform — illustrated by current events & @npcnow's research.
Just @Allegiant instead of @AmericanAir from SRQ for the first time and wow, what a great decision. Plenty of space in their Extra seats, friendly crew, back in DC two hours before AA departs (IF on time), and I don’t have to deal with AA’s disinterested & unhappy gate agents.
I recently joined @gregwdaniel @EliLillyandCo, @ihdezdelso @UCSanDiego, & Dr. Sean Sullivan @UW_Pharmacy for an @ISPORorg webinar on the #IRA — Medicare’s #MFPs for the first 10 negotiated drugs & anticipated cost savings.

CMS told us the prices they’ve set for drugs millions use to stay healthy. We don’t yet know, in spite of what they said, what the impact for patients at the pharmacy counter will be.
Our research suggests the IRA will reduce the number of conditions new medicines are approved to treat and limit post-approval research used to establish treatment guidelines, while encouraging plans to limit access.
We’ll be watching what happens over the coming months and conducting new research about the impact of this law. Meantime, NPC's recent research on the IRA offers important insights. Access the studies here: bit.ly/4fOd0nk
