In my 50 years, I have never been more proud to be an American. President Biden's remarkable speech moments ago will go down in history as one of his best ever and the most impactful support of Israel’s right to defend itself “decisively and overwhelming” against those bent on its destruction. Thank you, @POTUS, for your world leadership. Biden: "There are moments in this life when the pure, unadulterated evil is unleashed. The people of Israel lived through one such moment this weekend. The bloody hands of the terrorist organization Hamas, a group whose stated purpose is to kill Jews. This was an act of sheer evil. So, in this moment, we must be crystal clear. We stand with Israel. There is no justification for terrorism. There is no excuse. Hamas does not stand for the Palestinian people’s right to dignity and self-determination." There is no mincing words: HAMAS = ISIS, and we will dismantle and destroy them accordingly. Decide what side of history you are on as we do.
