2021 was my best year yet. Bought a house, bought a farm. Rented some land, successfully planted and harvested my first personal crop all while having this girl by my side! Can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store!

Looking for help! Have a 4020 with a synchro trans. Goes into all reverse gears fine. A couple of lower gears & 6th fine, but the rest, it wants to Jump out as you release the clutch. Especially 8th. Never been into a synchro. Is there anything i can do for adjustments? Or from the top cover of the trans? Or am i looking at a full split? Thanks in advance!

Pic for attention… Just throwing ideas at the wall. Say a guy was looking to get into a strip till bar, to spring apply his NH3. 24 row 30 inch planter, so want to go with 60’ bar. What bar would you look at? What row units? Nobody does this in my area. A lot of variable solids here. Clay, sand, and muck all in the same pass on some farms. What are the challenges going to be?

So incorrect.. as a farmer, and the owner of a ag retail company, fertilizer is available.. you just gotta dig deeper into your pocket this year then most to be able to pay for it
1 in 4 farmers state they have not been able to secure fertilizer due to prices under Trump, which will lead to food shortages and continuing rising prices in 2026.

(Long read) Historically, we were a Red equipment farm. Over the last 10 years, due to mainly dealer support, we have transitioned to almost all green iron. I’ve always been a believer in β€œall machinery breaks.. it just comes down to the service we can get when it does break” This machine went down on a Sunday… within 30 minutes, the first @Hutson_Inc employee pulled in the field, and within a hour, a service truck pulled in and started diagnosing. By the following Tuesday @JohnDeere was aware of the situation, and waiting for more updates. This machine was out of warranty, and I’m not the original owner, so what kind of support we would receive if any was a toss up. But everyone was in agreement that 1600 hrs is too early for this type of engine failure. John Deere, and Hutson have been great through this, and are stepping in making the situation right in our eyes. Making an unfortunate situation, alittle less painful. This is the kind of service and support we hope for, and is the reason we will be Running green paint for years to come!
Trying to keep my emotions outta this one, but man. This is a tough pill to swallow. John Deere 13.6 lt. 1600 hrs on the engine. Been maintained as it should, and looks like it’s going to be getting a crate engine.. Out of warranty… i sure hope this isn’t the standard for late model equipment, if it is, we are in for a world of hurt… Local dealer has been awesome to us so far. No complaints there. Curious if we will see any help from the top or if we are going to be on our own with this one…

Looking for some help! 1990 air seeder setup on 10” spacing. We can’t get high enough rate seeding wheat with it. I’ve been told there is a gear we can swap to speed the drive system up. Anyone have any input on this?

Probably the best truck this farm will ever own… We have newer trucks, and bigger hp trucks, but i don’t know if they will ever amount to what this one has!

Looking for a 2 box seed tender to mount on a flatbed semi trailer. Don’t need scales or anything fancy. I want to keep it simple. Anyone have a brand preference? #agx
