Warm and Inviting
The lake water was absolutely perfect today, which made it really hard to leave the beach! I must return soon!!!

Nashville Studio Celebration
We took another trip to Nashville to participate in the Grand Opening/ribbon cutting of Iron Galaxy Studios' beautiful Nashville Studio. My husband is the Head of IT, and He and his team were instrumental in the build-out and startup of this Studio.
It's been hectic and heavy, and they did it gracefully. I'm really proud of him/them! The celebration was great, and I'm glad we could witness the growth of such a fantastic company (and eat that delicious cake)!

Strawberry Lemonade Cake, Yum!!!
Just got back from Nashville, and I'm still thinking about this cake! This was a first for me, and now I need a good recipe. This deliciousness was ordered from Rae's Sandwich Shoppe for the Grand Opening Ceremony of my husband's Studio.
I should have had a second piece. I'm willing to hit the road for another 8 hours to have some more!

Enter With Style
This is definitely something you don't see every day! So much fun was had at Whinny City Pony Con. I'm thankful for the eccentric and creative fandom!

Make Your Mark
When your daughter is the world's biggest My Little Pony fan and Whinny City Pony Con 2024 is around the corner, you get right to work on her cosplay costume! This year, Minty was her Pony of choice.
I can't wait to show you the finished product and tell you some awesome stories!

Screaming Cicadas
Our property is the home of thousands of cicadas at the moment, and if you live near us, you may hear an occasional scream from me or my daughter as we walk out of our back door and feel cicadas falling on top of us.
My husband has been sweeping them off of our walkways, and we have neighbors filling huge garbage cans with cicada remains. It's super gross but also amazingly cool; nature is crazy!
