When you ask somebody to name the most iconic video game characters, more often than not, Sonic the Hedgehog is mentioned. But Sonic is more than SEGA doing what Nintendon't; he's become an absolute powerhouse of his own accord. From the original run of four games battling Dr. Robotnik or Knuckles all the way up to his karting adventures alongside other SEGA powerhouses, Sonic is bigger than a household name. That blue, spiky noggin is symbolic of one of the industry's greatest ever characters - you could even argue he's quickly earning the same status in film as well. Sonic the Hedgehog, your legend knows no bounds.
