I kinda of genuinely wonder what fandom as a whole will look like once ao3 is back up cause right now I don’t know if it feels more like community and coming together or more like war where everyone is fighting each other.

Don’t know what everyone is talking about. Nothing happened today. Wolfstar and Jily brought Harry Trick or Treating. Remus and James started planning out Sirius’ birthday. And they all got to live very long, happy lives. 🙄

As an author: if you don't want your work to be downloaded, don't put it on the site with download option. To the readers: when all is back make sure to drop a kudos or a comment to the things you read and enjoyed. You don't owe it by law but you do owe it by common courtesy

details i've always loved seeing in fanart is one character holding another and their skin is squished around their hand and fingers :(( i love love love seeing a cheek and nose squished and fingers tugging at the skin so it folds and creases it's so lovely

When they were children, on Halloween, after Trick or Treating, Ronan would look Declan dead in the eyes and say, “you have to give me half your candy ‘cuz it’s my birthday tomorrow.”

I made a “no I’m Sirius” joke today to my co worker and I got the same reaction that one of the marauders would’ve given. I hope I’ve made Sirius proud.

There were so many moments in LA BOLA NEGRA where I was completely blown away by both the score and the cinematography.

I mean honestly, knowing that other people want to read my fics, are recommending them, and/or like it so much they saved it to have as a backup is enough for me. Maybe it’s just a personal thing, but that feels like a kudos to me, even if I’m not seeing it. Especially now

Still go back and leave kudos and comments on the fics you read btw!! This is just a personal opinion for my own fics!

Concept: people can read both fics and books. In fact, often times reading books are what leads to reading fics. Another concept: not judging someone for doing something harmless and ignoring it/staying in your fucking lane.

No shade but if you have docs on docs of saved fics you just need to get off your phone and read a fucking book.
