Have you seen Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's response? He nails it. kareem.substack.com/p/will-s… If Ricky Gervais (met him in London, lovely man) had been the victim, the Academy's response would've been very different. I doubt Smith would've been allowed to give that acceptance speech.

This man was forced to give his dog to Humane Society due to lengthy hospital stay. This nurse went to the shelter and adopted his dog. She brings him to visit daily & will return him as soon as the man is released! Be the light in this world, even through the dark times ❤️
