I spent 20 years in emergency medicine and never lost a patient. The most useful diagnostic tool I use now is not a scan. It is a thumb on a fascial plane, feeling where the tissue thickens, knots or tightens up: echoes from inside the body. Western medicine has no name for this finding. Instead they take scans read them as “unremarkable” and send the patient home, but they are no better.
